Epic Zero: Tales of a Not-So-Super 6th Grader (Book 1)
***Readers’ Favorite Gold Model Winner***

12-year-old Elliott Harkness wants nothing more than to join his family as part of the Freedom Force, the world's greatest superhero team。 There's only one problem, he's a "Zero," that's super-speak for powerless。 Frequently abandoned by his crime-fighting family, teased by his older super-sister, and picked on at school, Elliott is miserably ordinary in his heroically extraordinary family。

All of that changes when a mysterious new girl comes to town。 She believes Elliott is far from ordinary。 In fact, she thinks Elliott is the only one capable of capturing a powerful, other-worldly orb before it falls into the wrong hands。 To succeed, Elliott will have to do more than just find the orb。 He'll have to fend off menacing supervillains, face globe-conquering aliens, and figure out who's truly on his side。 But when Elliott realizes he's the planet's last hope, will he find the power within himself to be the epic hero he's always wanted to be? Or, will he always be just an Epic Zero?

Epic Zero 2: Tales of a Pathetic Power Failure (Book 2)

Elliott Harkness finally has powers and is a full-fledged member of the Freedom Force, the greatest superhero team on Earth。 Elliott should be over the moon, but he quickly realizes that having powers is one thing, controlling them is quite another! So, after yet another botched mission, Elliott finds himself grounded。

But his punishment is short-lived when he’s kidnapped by a band of teenage alien outlaws who believe he’s the only one capable of destroying a planet-eating monster that’s annihilating worlds。 To stop it, all Elliott has to do is use the Orb of Oblivion, the most powerful weapon in the universe。 Unfortunately, he blew it to pieces months ago! But that’s just the beginning of Elliott’s problems, as he’s swept up in an interstellar adventure complete with extraterrestrial enemies, intergalactic crime lords, and cosmic beings beyond his wildest imagination。 With the fate of the universe at stake, will Elliott rise up to be the epic hero he’s always wanted to be? Or, will he always be just an Epic Zero?

Epic Zero 3: Tales of a Super Lame Last Hope (Book 3)

Elliott is finally legit。 He’s learned the superhero ropes and even saved the world a few times。 But when Elliott makes a major mistake during a do-or-die mission, his confidence is shattered and he decides to hang up his tights … for good。

Unfortunately, a new threat emerges that forces Elliott to put his early retirement plans on hold。 A fiery cosmic creep known as the Herald is heading for Earth, and bringing Ravager—the Annihilator of Worlds—with him! To stop the planet-eating monster Elliott needs the Orb of Oblivion。 There’s just one problem, it no longer exists! Desperate for another Orb, Elliott realizes he somehow needs to travel to a mirror universe to find one。 And that’s the least of his troubles。 The multiverse is mysteriously collapsing, and only one universe will survive! With the end of everything quickly approaching, can Elliott become the epic hero he’s destined to be? Or, will he always be just an Ep

I love the series。

I didn't know what to expect when I started reading this series。 I was gladly surprised when I noticed how it captured my attention。 I found many references to certain movies, but the author managed to turn those similar storylines into something new。 I recommend these books to 6th graders and up, no age limit。 I didn't know what to expect when I started reading this series。 I was gladly surprised when I noticed how it captured my attention。 I found many references to certain movies, but the author managed to turn those similar storylines into something new。 I recommend these books to 6th graders and up, no age limit。 。。。more

You should definitely buy or rent this book it is well worth it。 The best part is it comes with 1-3 so you don't have to and rent or buy the second one。 I have just finished reading the whole 3 books and it was so much fun。 My favorite book was 2 it was so cool my favorite part was when Zero was told he is going to fit for his planet or it will be destroyed。 And he was like ha what are you sure and what do you mean ow ow like that ya。 This book definitely brings you on an avenger。 The first book You should definitely buy or rent this book it is well worth it。 The best part is it comes with 1-3 so you don't have to and rent or buy the second one。 I have just finished reading the whole 3 books and it was so much fun。 My favorite book was 2 it was so cool my favorite part was when Zero was told he is going to fit for his planet or it will be destroyed。 And he was like ha what are you sure and what do you mean ow ow like that ya。 This book definitely brings you on an avenger。 The first book was like ow snap when Zeros best friend seed I am an alien。 he was like my whole life is a lie no crying。 And the first chapters of book one were funny。 Like when Zero told his dog he can feel it this time and jumps off his bed and goes uncoches。 The whole thing you can see in your head I mean I could definitely see Zeros whole family living in a space station。 My favorite superhero out of the hole 3 books has to be Zero like this 12-year-old does not give up he is like Germany in WW2 no surrender。 So overall this book is an ovule 5-star review for me。 。。。more

My son LOVES this series and can't wait to dive into the next trilogy。 It's fun and inventive with an imperfect kid hero that he can relate to。 My son LOVES this series and can't wait to dive into the next trilogy。 It's fun and inventive with an imperfect kid hero that he can relate to。 。。。more

Meh。。。Don't get me wrong, the first book in general is at least 4 stars overall to me。 But that is free and does not end on a 'cliffhanger'。 The second and third books have lots of grammatical and plot errors and are not as good, period。 I do not recommend the $7 3 pack and encourage you to download the $0 first book instead。 Meh。。。Don't get me wrong, the first book in general is at least 4 stars overall to me。 But that is free and does not end on a 'cliffhanger'。 The second and third books have lots of grammatical and plot errors and are not as good, period。 I do not recommend the $7 3 pack and encourage you to download the $0 first book instead。 。。。more

Review from my 11 year old- it's a bit all over the place and reminds me of a knockoff of other established fictional characters like Batman, Silver Surfer and Galactus。 It was good and an easy read (I finished all 3 books in one afternoon) but more original characters would have made it better。 Review from my 11 year old- it's a bit all over the place and reminds me of a knockoff of other established fictional characters like Batman, Silver Surfer and Galactus。 It was good and an easy read (I finished all 3 books in one afternoon) but more original characters would have made it better。 。。。more
